I decided that what would REALLY make me happy is to finish school. SO I went up to UTA to see if it was at all possible to start this semester and it obviously was meant to be because EVERYTHING fell into place immediately. So yup, I moved back after a month in Cali. *Tear Sniff Tear* But it'll be there when I'm finished with school, which will be all too soon.

YAY SCHOOL! I'm ecstatic.

Okay so after much effort in getting settled, I have time to update. Cali is great! Everyone I've met/dubbed as a new bff is sooooooo wonderful. Teddy cooked ribs and bbq chicken for us two night ago. It wasn't Sonny's, (of course, who could top Sonny's) but he could definitely hang. Last night Jason made chili. Absolutely, delicious chili. I ate three bowls, delicious chili. It was actually a fat-cow-night-extravaganza. Rotel queso, root beer floats, brownies, chili, wine and all. It was awesome.
I swear pictures are coming soon, but for the record: Yes, Kim and I share a bed. Yes, it is a round bed. No, it does not vibrate/rotate/move in anyway. No, we do not cuddle. In fact, it's large enough that I wake up and forget she's even there. It's large enough for four people to sleep comfortably without spooning. Trust me, we've done it. So needless to say we share a room and closet. Which is fine because I haven't brought all my stuff out here and I borrow most of Kim's clothes anyhow. Luckily we're the same size minus height.
Basically, I love it here! The only down sides are what I swore I'd do while i was here; work and go to school. The closest college is scary. So I baled on that. Vonda and Balla are cool with me taking online classes if I buy a new computer because mine is donzo more or less. Now as far as jobs go....this economy SUCKS. Honestly, I have the newspaper job listings as proof, there is nothing. The position I was transferring into was filled before I got here. Which was a bummer. I've sent out my resume to half a dozen places. Blah blah wah wah whine. Bottom line, if I don't get a good job I'm moving home. Saddish BUT most people wouldn't have even taken the initiative to come out here and atleast try. So I'll give it until January...ish....maybe?

We shall seeeeeeeeee. BumBumBum. But for now I HAVE to finish reading Eclipse.

So I went over to San Diego City College today to register for classes. As I pulled up, I looked, made a u-turn and came home. I am NOT going to school there. On the way back some cop chased a boy on skateboard that went across the street. The cop followed him onto the sidewalk...like hopped the curb and went into the grass just to yell at this poor boy in front of God and everyone. Did i mention SDCC is next door to the high school. It was really scary and not safe looking. I think instead I'll take online classes toward my degree at UTA... Sound like a good plan?

I just now officially moved to San Diego. Kim and I are off to go grocery shopping and get some pinkberry. We ate lunch on the harbor. I felt really touristy and then realized, "Duh! I live here!" In my opinion this is the prettiest place in the world to live when you're in your twenties. I plan to come back to Texas in May...but then again I just might not. HA!

So I just saw a sneak preview of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and WOW! I'm not over exaggerating, that was the BEST movie I have EVER seen. Everyone needs to go see it. Boys and girls, young and old, and take tissues.

So with BJ in town, I've gotten to spend a lot of time with his neices Abby, who's nine, and Ava, who's two, out in Weatherford. I've decided that nine year olds are the coolest in the world. I have had the best laughs thanks to the girls.

Abby: Aida, are you and BJ related or just friends?
Me: We're just friends.
BJ: But one day she'll be your aunt!
Me: Wouldn't that be cool Abby?
Abby: It'd be even cooler if my mom adopted you!
Me: I think I might be too old.
Abby: Not compared to my mom! She's 32!!!....but don't tell her I said that, she'd be heart-broken.

Me: See! Way to go BJ, now you have to marry me because you told Abby I'd be her aunt.

That's the best one. But there are tons of others. I'm going to start an Abby-Blog. And an Ava video blog. When Ava was done with her bath she called me in and pretended to be asleep...she's not the best actress, but a naked, wet, fake-asleep two year old is hysterical.

Have you recently gone through any of the sites that make Xanga Layouts? What the heck?! They're so weird and pathetic. It's like these people have nothing better to do with their time than make ridiculous layouts for people like me (who genuinely have nothing better to do with their time) to thump through and criticize. Touche layout makers. But come up with something decent and minutely mature, OR direct me to a site that does. 'k thanks.

Okay, so I'm joining Brookie in the re-revolution of xanga. This took me a while to figure out again. NOT like riding a bike obviously.

I don't have tons of pictures to post like Brooke because my camera triumphantly broke on my way back from Kansas for the final time. ( I think it was Kansas' last jab at me.) It also broke my computer on the way back to Texas so I sneakily use my mom's or my "roomie" Kim's.

Yup, Kim's my roomate. Well she will be in sixteen days when I move to San Diego and have what promises to be an exciting six month adventure. YAYAYA! I'm really excited. I'm gonna get Pinkberry as soon as I land and then WALK to our downtown, highrise apartment to burn off the calories. Although it won't be much of a walk because we live DOWNTOWN.

Hmmm, more updates... I finally bought Twilight like a big chump. I plan to return to Kansas only once more before I die to get my soap dispenser (it matches my favorite set of towels) and say goodbye once again to my friends. And that's pretty much it I guess. Oh ya Bronson and I are in an "understanding." Which basically means he wants to marry me one day, but not today, and he doesn't want anyone else to think they can until that time.

I'll think of more interesting somethings later.
